My name's Matilda and I'm from Melbourne, Australia.
I'm currently a full time student (which means lots of free time to travel this beautiful world) studying enviro science... hoping by the time I finish my degree it's not too late for this burning world we live on.

Couchsurfing has enabled me to travel while trying to distance myself from the capitalistic tourism industry that often fails to benefit locals. I would love/hope (but not a must if you are busy) to get to know my hosts and have an insight into local culture. Maybe one day I can repay the favour if you ever visit down under!
