ABOUT ME

I work part-time in the healthcare industry in sales as I am in nursing school full-time. I have worked very hard to achieve success in both areas! I love what I do for work and it drives my passion for enriching the lives of others! Once I graduate on Dec. 9, 2017, I will take some time off and travel back to South America and SE Asia too! I will make my final destination to Anchorage in May 2018! I am so very excited to live in Alaska as it's been my dream to live there since 2006.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have couch surfed twice in Greece and have not hosted because of roommate situations. Once I move to Alaska, I will certainly open my home to couch surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an excellent experience with my two separate hosts in Greece! They were very kind, open-hearted and genuine. One host took me (and other surfers) to a beach far away from the tourist area and to an excellent restaurant where only locals went. No English was spoken. It was marvelous!

Interests

I enjoy camping solo and with friends. I love adventuring during my free time and simply love exploring the mountains and rivers of Colorado! I also enjoy reading and writing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One awesome experience was caving while in Puerto Rico for my birthday! We had rappelled 250 feet down the mountainside into a sink hole! Yes! The opening of this cave! We had three base jumps while inside the cave into the water...once IN TOTAL DARKNESS! Unexpectedly, my group sang "Happy Birthday" to me a mile inside the cave and I was given candles to blow out!!!! How awesome is this???

Teach, Learn, Share

Trust and embracing life support each other. By following my intuition and learning who to trust while traveling solo (and who not to trust), I have had some of the most amazing experiences!!! This world is too huge for us to go through it without trusting anyone else and with having a conservative, closed-minded attitude. I learn and grow considerably by meeting others during my travels. Lifelong friendships ensue as a result.
