About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Same old exploring the world.

ABOUT ME

28-year old outgoing (slightly eccentric in a good way) and open-minded guy who enjoys meeting new people and love travelling. Currently working in China full-time but travelling with my job half the time.

PHILOSOPHY

The biggest Danish cliché: To travel is to live (H.C. Andersen)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to meet interesting people in Beijing and when travelling. If I can't host I might still be available for some beer :D

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hitchhiked to Amsterdam with Aske, a friend of mine, where we had a blast with Ruth, done a mini eurotrip to Berlin, Prague, Bratislava and Vienna. We even went to a couchsurfing meeting where the true (and very positive)face of the community revealed itself to me. So far it's been awesome meeting new, cool and open-minded people. Since then we've hitchhiked through Central and Eastern Europe + the Balkans. Everyone should go to Romania! Besides this, Iran turned out to be an incredibly friendly country with a very lively CS community.

Interests

Friends, exotic food, languages in general, partying, meeting new people, cultural exchange.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kinds of music, although I'm horrible with lyrics.
I love documentaries but sometimes a little bit of funny reality might sneak it's way in or some fantasy I suppose. I read a lot of crime novels, which is probably the most Scandinavian thing you'll find about me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took part in traditional indigenous ceremonies in the Ecuadorian jungle. Climbed a 4500 mt mountain to reach a volcanic lake, 5 hours of walking through mud. North Korea for sure, what a strange experience. Drinking vodka with locals on the top piece of a tank by the Afghan border. Wedding crashed in Uzbekistan, Croatia and Iran knowing no one at the party whatsoever. And I was a stand-in in two Chinese films (:

Teach, Learn, Share

Languages and I know lots of pointless facts. I love to learn both of the above mentioned things ;) And hear stories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Plenty of stories, laughs and cooking (:
