关于我

Hi! I’m an Afghan local living in Kabul, passionate about culture, connection, and meaningful conversations. As someone who deeply values hospitality — an essential part of Afghan tradition — I enjoy meeting travelers from around the world and showing them the real, authentic side of Afghanistan that rarely makes it into the headlines.

I believe that travel breaks barriers, and every guest brings a unique story. Whether it’s over a cup of Afghan tea or a walk through Kabul’s lively streets, I love exchanging perspectives and learning about different cultures. I'm always happy to offer tips, share local insights, or help you explore hidden gems that most tourists miss.

I’ve hosted friends, journalists, adventurers, and artists — and I’m always open to meeting kind, respectful, and curious people who want to understand this land better.

If you’re ever visiting Kabul or nearby cities, I’d be glad to help however I can!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of human connection beyond borders, languages, and backgrounds. As an Afghan, I’ve seen how often my country is misunderstood, and I want to offer travelers a chance to experience the real Afghanistan — its rich culture, deep hospitality, and the warmth of its people.

Couchsurfing is not just about a free place to stay; it’s about building friendships, sharing stories, and creating unforgettable experiences. I love meeting open-minded travelers, learning about their cultures, and offering them a safe, welcoming space to feel at home while exploring my country.

Through Couchsurfing, I hope to contribute to positive cultural exchange, break stereotypes, and leave people with good memories of Afghanistan that they’ll carry for life.

兴趣

I have a deep passion for culture, people, and real stories — especially those that are often overlooked or misunderstood. As an Afghan living in Kabul, I’m proud of my country’s rich history, traditions, and the legendary hospitality of our people. One of my greatest joys is meeting travelers who are curious and open-minded enough to explore Afghanistan beyond the headlines.

I enjoy long conversations over a cup of green tea, sharing local meals, and hearing about others’ journeys. I’m fascinated by history, language, and traditional music, and I love introducing guests to the real Afghan lifestyle — whether that means visiting a local market, walking through ancient streets, or simply exchanging stories at home.

In my free time, I like to explore nearby regions, go for short hikes, take photos of nature and daily life, and learn more about different cultures. I'm also passionate about peacebuilding, community work, and any opportunity that connects people across borders.

Travel may not always be easy, but the connections we make along the way are what make it worth it. That's why I'm here on Couchsurfing — to host, to learn, and to share something meaningful with others.

音乐、电影和书籍

I love music that carries emotion and culture — from traditional Afghan folk songs to soothing instrumental world music. I also enjoy listening to Sufi music, which feels spiritual and grounding.

As for movies, I appreciate films that tell real stories or explore deep human emotions. Some of my favorites include The Kite Runner, The Pianist, and any well-made documentaries about different cultures or places.

In books, I enjoy reading history, biographies, and travel stories. Books like “A Thousand Splendid Suns” by Khaled Hosseini and “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Viktor Frankl have left a lasting impact on me.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One amazing thing I’ve done is host international travelers in Afghanistan and see how their perspective on this country completely changed after spending time here. Sharing my culture with them, and learning from theirs in return, has been incredibly rewarding. In a world full of misunderstandings, this kind of real connection feels truly powerful.

教,学,和分享

I can teach you about Afghan culture, customs, basic phrases in Dari or Pashto, how to make local tea, or how to eat like a local! I love to share insights about our traditions, hospitality, and history — things that don't often make it into the media.

I’d love to learn about your country, your travel stories, and how people live in other parts of the world. I'm also open to learning new languages or even cooking techniques from different cultures.

We can share conversations, meals, music, and laughs — the best parts of being human.

我可以与沙发主分享些什么

Although I’m more often a host than a guest, when I do stay with someone, I always bring respect, a helpful attitude, and a desire to connect.

I can share Afghan hospitality, cook a traditional meal, help with anything around the house, and always be a polite and open guest. I believe in leaving a place better than I found it — whether that's through good conversation, a clean space, or a warm memory.
