Hello, my name is Matjaz and I live in Kranjska Gora, a ski resort town in the heart of Julian Alps. I live with my corgi Fima. I am very passionate for skiing and winter sports, as well as cycling. I occasionally show people around Kranjska Gora on bikes.

This is why I decided to use couchsurfing, in order to use it as a gateway to authentic experiences abroad. Because I travel frequently, and many times I travel with bicycle, I believe that it helps to immerse myself in cultures and lives of locals in order to have memorable experiences.

In September and October of 2023 I did a solo trip with my bicycle across France, Spain and Portugal in total of 2500 km.

I would love to teach my guests the preparation of various traditional Slovenian dishes
I would love to share with my guests a glass of one of my favorite wines and show them around Kranjska Gora.
I am open to learn about my guests' cultures because this is how I widen my perspective on things.
