ABOUT ME

Hi there,

My name is Mathias Pattyn, 22 years young, born and raised in Ypres, a truly wonderful little city in Flanders, Belgium. I graduated in journalism and public relations and now I am living and working near Antwerp as a Communications Consultant. I fell in love with traveling during my trip to the United States when I was 20. I then started to realize what this world can offer us if you have the courage and adventurous drift to explore it. What are you waiting for my friend?

PHILOSOPHY

I'm still trying to find my way in this life, although I realize that there isn't a perfect manner. As long as you keep in mind that what you have now,is very valuable. Mostly you only know what you had, once it's gone. Try to realize this at this very moment. Travelling helps me to reach that thought and to open up my mind.

CS is a superb project to meet other people from all over the world and to encourage each other to travel all the way. So far I have been hosted in Washington and Philadelphia. I hope I can return the favour myself.

Music: In general I love most types of music. Still my favourite styles of music are (tech)house, techno, minimal and groove. A special announcement goes to the 90's -).

Books: I used to read books often. Mostly thrillers, but that goes back to my childhood. Currently reading Naked Conversations from Robert Scoble and Shel Israel.

Movies: I like comedies and movies with an interesting storyline/plot. I also like classical movies, especially French movies.
