I’m a 20 year old Norwegian freelance journalist who loves to travel. I’m currently studying media science at NTNU in Trondheim Norway. I’ve been told I’m pleasant to hang around with and I’m eager to learn about people and cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on couchsurfing to see the world from the eyes of locals and to see something more than just the tourist attractions guidebooks talk about.

Interests

I’m interested in most types of art, music, literature, film, photography, painting, you name it, I’m also a fan of anything mechanical, typewriters, analog cameras, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, etc. In short I’m a jack of all trades and I’m constantly digging into some new interest. I’m currently writing on several novels and am learning the guitar, all the while restoring and old car and a motorcycle.

Music, Movies, and Books

For music it would be Pink Floyd, but I’m into generally anything with a guitar or a piano, this depends a lot on my mood.
I’m a big Tarantino fan, I’ve been told I’m rather pretentious when it comes to film but I like to say that I generally just like good films.
Books? There are so many, I’m a sucker for the Beat generation, Jack Kerouac, Ginsberg, etc, but like with films, I like to think I’m an omnivore consuming anything that tastes good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This one’s hard, but I think I’ll go for the time I went paragliding in the Austrian Alps.

I’m eager to learn languages and local history and culture, I have knowledge of my own culture and will very willingly share photos and the likes.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have tons of stories to share around a campfire, a kitchen table or a sitting group, as well as some skills in cooking, so I can cook up a decent meal. I’ve also collected quite a bit of knowledge from countries I’ve visited.
