I'm Matt and I live in Singapore with my parents. I hope to host someday when I get my own house. At the moment, I like to travel to nearby countries but I love going to Japan more!

I teach in elementary school and hope to teach in other countries as well in the future.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

When I first created this account, I met someone here and then we became close friends and we traveled to other places together. That was an amazing experience personally. But that was many years ago and I realized people do want to know each other and interact especially people from different background, culture and tradition. It brings joy and the experience to learn something new is intriguing.

Thereafter, I found out that I could babysit and these are the experiences that I could never have found without CS.

兴趣

I do enjoy sports, etc, but I am more laid-back in recent years. I like to relax and unwind more and just observe things happening around me. I enjoy teaching too.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was scared of water/swimming pool when I was young and up till I was much older (maybe 21 years old). Ironically, I enjoy doing water sports e.g. Kayaking but I couldn't swim. I pushed myself during my conscription years and was in a state of mind that I knew someday I could swim if I keep practicing it. For an adult, it was a huge challenge but I finally overcame it!!

If you keep believing something will happen and work for it consistently, you can achieve it.
