Overview
About Me
I'm a friendly guy in my mid twenties trying to do meaningful things with my life while seeing the world at the same time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I move often for seasonal/itinerate work in various fields, mostly relating to conservation and outdoor education and I meet excellent people everywhere I go!
Interests
I love learning about all sorts of things and trying to get in touch with the essence of a place through the people who live there. History, geography, politics, music, are all enthusiastic sources of conversation. I prefer to travel more slowly and at ground level if possible, often by sailboat in warm parts of the world. I'm interesting in cooking, working outdoors, participating in aerobic activities and maritime issues and skills.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love classical, 19th century folk music, dance tunes (swing, pop, anything actually), classic rock and noir jazz. Also sea shanties. My favorite books are Don Quixote, The Sun Also Rises, House of Leaves, and Michener and Cormac McCarthy. My fav movie is Dr. Zhivago (1965).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've sailed a traditional tall ship +3500 miles from Tahiti to Honolulu HI. I've also watched a volcano erupt while drinking wine in Antigua, Guatemala. Ok, that's two.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to share experiences and talk about interesting stuff. I think most things are interesting so that make sharing/learning easy.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share stories, food, company or work with couchsurfers and hosts.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Belize, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Dominica, French Polynesia, Grenada, Guatemala, Kiribati, Montserrat, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Saint Martin (French part), Saint Vincent and the Grenadines
