I am a rather relaxed person that enjoys traveling and meeting new people. I enjoy everything listed in my interests, but that list is not exhaustive - I am always willing to try new things. How else do you learn that you like something unless you've experienced it first hand?

I apologize that I'm not currently likely to accept Couchsurfing guests but my current situation is that I am living with my in-laws. My wife and I are living with her parents in an effort to save money so that we can move to America (where I am originally from) in Sept 2016.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have spoken to friends that have done Couchsurfing and all the experiences that I have heard about have been positive. This has piqued my curiosity and I am now interested in pursuing it myself as a way of meeting new people combined with budget traveling.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to believe that my interest in music is rather broad, I enjoy listening to most genres given my mood at the time.

My interest in films is not quite as extensive as my music interest but I would still consider it as rather large - foreign films, documentaries, blockbusters, these are all films that I enjoy watching. I generally enjoy movies directed or produced by the Coen brothers, J.J. Abrams, Guillermo del Toro, Edgar Wright, Quentin Tarantino, and many others.

I try to continually read new things but currently my favorite authors would probably be JRR Tolkien, James Rollins, Matthew Reilly, and George RR Martin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met a girl at 17, married her at 19 and moved 3000 miles away from home to join her in another country - there is a lot more to the story and if I have the chance to Couchsurf with you, I'll certainly share it all.
