About Me

I grew up in upstate New York and when I was 20 years old I packed up and moved to the west coast of the United States. I attended film school in Portland, Oregon, a city I am more than happy to call home. I now work as freelance video editor. I ride my snowboard all winter long and I surf and skateboard during the summer. I also go camping as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm taking a month long European adventure and instead of a trip of solitude in hotels I'd rather make some new friends!

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite band is Brand New, other than that I like a lot of different bands and genres of music.

There are too many movies I enjoy to name off my favorites but I'll try to name a few. Mad Max Fury Road is probably my favorite film right now, followed closely by Snatch by Guy Ritchie.. Birdman is a recent favorite. Anything from Quentin Tarantino, The Coen Brothers, Edgar Wright etc...

I don't read books that often but when I do I tend to lean more towards non fiction. Neil Degrasse Tyson's "Space Chronicals" is the most recent. Also Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" is among my favorites, which may or may not be a work of fiction. . .
