My name is Matthew Krieger. I grew up near Los Angeles, CA. I am lover of life and music (especially psychedelic trance)! I also love to travel. At age 24 I received a sudden itch to travel the world, and now (June 2016) I am finally going to scratch that itch!

I have done a small bit of travelling recently. I went to Panama for 3 weeks (in Feb/Mar 2016) to attend an event called "Tribal Gathering". It was filled with workshops taught by members of indigenous tribes from all over South America. They taught us all about their culture including music, food, dance, medicine and more. I met some truly amazing people and created some wonderful friendships.

January 2017-
After an amazing journey through Europe filled with new friendships, lessons, experiences, and food, I have returned back home to Los Angeles. Feel free to request me if you're planning a trip here.. would be happy to host 😊 Safe travels everyone!

June 2020-
After a few years of working and traveling I've decided to relocate to Portland, OR and work on creating a food cart business. Will be pretty busy for a while but I'm happy to host any travellers. Cheers!

I absolutely love the Couchsurfing concept! Such an amazing tool for humans to use to explore outside their comfort zone for free, as well as make amazing friends in the process. The question should be "Why is anyone NOT on Couchsurfing?!"

I plan to use Couchsurfing to create long-lasting friendships with people from all over the world!

I love to explore new territory. Whether is be a walk around a new city, or a 5 day venture into a forest!

Snowboarding is a huge love of mine. The euphoric feeling I receive from riding fresh powder is unlike any other feeling.
