Hey, I'm Matt, I'm a Musician and in school to be an educator. I am also working on a minor in Japanese. I really enjoy traveling and seeing different areas of the world. Japan so far is my favorite destination. I play multiple instruments; I'm a classically trained percussionist and I play guitar in a punk rock band. Music has always been a large part of my life and also something I love to experience where ever I end up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling is expensive, and I think everyone deserves the chance to be able to visit somewhere and meet and stay with someone who knows the area. In any of my travels meeting someone who can show you around and help you get to different places will always add excitement and ease of mind to your trip. Because I am a traveler I'd also like that experience of getting to know and be guided by someone much more knowledgeable about the area that I'm staying in than myself.
