Hey, my name is Matt, but you already knew that. I'm just a guy from the midwest who spent the last few years living in Minneapolis and most recently landed in Fort Collins, CO. I spend a ton of my time reading and in good weather I am always outside. I also love good food and good wine, especially when those things are shared with good people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend a lot of my reading time reading food and travel writing. MFK Fischer and Jim Harrison are two of my favorite gourmands. I try to read something informative at all times; usually about restaurant management or business philosophy. I'm also a huge fan of Sci-fi and fantasy literature. Phillip K Dick, Arthur C Clarke, George R R Martin, and of course J R R Tolkien.

My musical tastes are as varied as my reading list. I love bluegrass and americana, I enjoy music from the electronica range of the spectrum, grew up listening to classic rock, and also dabble in hip hop.
