ABOUT ME

I have just finished a three contract working at an international school in Saigon as a Priary teacher. In that time I have been hosting CSers from all over the world and have loved gettin involved with the Saigon CSer community.

I am now travelling for the year and I am loving the freedom and space to pursue some writing projects and general exploration of some amazing countries.

My rough plan is to start in Africa and work by way down from Kenya to South Africa (now 'Done'). Then, to find some Komodo Dragons and wonderful beaches in Indonesia (now 'Done'). Then on to explore all the wonders of New Zealand for a few weeks leading up to the end of 2011. After that, I am working my way from Chile to Brazil (via Argentina and Urguay) to end up at the Rio Carnival hopefully. Then up to Panama and then overland to Mexico (Via Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Belise and Guatemala). Then, finally up to the US and, depending on finances, some poker tournaments in Vegas... )

Then, reality will probably set in and I may have to start looking for my next teaching post starting Sep 2012... I am currently umming and ahhhing about taking a job in Africa for 2012 or heading back to the UK for a little bit...

Prior to becoming a teacher, I have worked on various TV shows as a Researcher. Played drums in countless bands.... Written theatrical scripts etc etc... Too hard to sum up in a rectangular box me thinks...

Happily... I am looking forward to meeting as many CSers as posible on my RTW trip. I have been an active host fo a while now and I am now looking forward to hopefully experiencing life as a surfer too....

The main sports I do are Football and Marathon running - I am hoping to do my next marathon maybe in May 2012... )

I also working on completing some writing projects during my RTW. I have lots of different project that I have put on the backburner over recent years - I am now aiming to complete as many of them as possible in the coming months...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Machu Picchu.... Salt Flats in Bolivia..... Attempting to surf 12 foot waves on Dreamlands beach, Bali, was most cool too... Great Wall... Climbing Mt Kinabalu..... Trekking about in the Himalayas.... Bungee in the world in Nepal.... Zambezi Whitewater Rafting... Skydive in Namibia... Walking with Lions in Zimbabwe... Finding Komodo Dragons ALL GOOD )
