A recent book which I loved was the book of form and emptiness by Ruth Ozeki. My favourite book is probably the alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Music - anything I can dance to. Bjork, sophie, bat for lashes, Arca, sufjan stevens, FKA twigs etc.
