About Me

ABOUT ME

Confident, independent, humorous type of chap, perfectly happy in my own company but always keeping an eye out for the next adventure. If I'm on holiday, I am going to get 'under the influence' and make a fool of myself. I'll also sit and have a sophisticated chat over fine food and decent wine. Depends on the company and the occasion I guess!

I like to achieve something during my trips. Could be climbing a mountain, could be trying something for the first time, could be meeting incredible people. Quite happy to sit on a beach for the day and relax, quite happy if that beach is at the end of a motorbike dirt scramble.

Interests

My time for the last 12 months has been dominated by work and getting to know London. By 'getting to know', I mean finding new bars, helping out with YMBBT, dropping into secret cinema, hitting the exhibitions (the ball gown one at the V&A with Mother was a particular favoutrite), discovering rooftop bars and living as if money was no object (it really is).

I'm physically active and go to the gym fairly often. I haven't played rugby for a while but am hoping to start again this season. I've done a bit of hill walking in my time, snowboarding, skiing, road cycling, motorbiking, climbing, swimming and am a qualified fitness intructor. I think it's about time I learned to surf and really need to start doing some running.
