ABOUT ME

I am currently getting my masters degree in opera at the University of Maryland. Aside from the opera degree, I'm a pretty regular/chill guy. I love audio books, cycling, playing guitar, singing, racquetball, squash, classical music, brewing beer, and drinking beer and wine.

I've worked in restaraunts, done a bunch of odd jobs, I was a door-to-door salesman for 80 hours a week for a whole summer, and I want to make my living being a performer/singer.

PHILOSOPHY

Love is the most important thing. Each day is a gift, and the amount of time each of us is given on this earth is very finite, so we owe it to ourselves to use it well.

I don't have a super nice place right now for people to stay at, but I have a couple of nice couches and could probably make something work.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started in December 2011 and used CS a couple of times in the USA. In Summer of 2013, I went backpacking around Austria and Hungary and surfed with some really amazing people! I haven't hosted much because throughout college, I haven't had much room to spare, but my current place has ample couches to stay on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled around the west coast of the USA living out of a van for weeks/months at a time surviving only by selling pictures in order to raise money to go do service work in Zambia.
