Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see and experience as much of the world as is possible.
ABOUT ME
I am a graduate student at New York University, and I am working on my masters degree in Middle Eastern studies. I love to travel, and since my mom works for the airlines, I can fly anywhere the airline flys for free. It is amazing, and I am extraordinarily lucky. So I have travelled many places.
I think medicine is the best medicine, laughter is at most second best.
I think there are definitely stupid questions, they just never stem from a sincere desire to learn.
PHILOSOPHY
When I travel, I find as a general rule, if you are nice to people and treat them with kindness, they will respond in kind. I spend my life trying to experience as much of the world as I possibly can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have gone to couch-surfing events in Cairo and Istanbul, and I am free to opening up my couch to people who come to visit New York. I want people to experience what is to me, one of the 2 best cities in the world(along with Paris).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I hosted three really cool people at my apartment in New York City and I surfed on couches in Belgium and Spain.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like those things, music I like Los Campesinos, Arcade Fire, Japandroids, Phoenix, Sufjan Stevens, Sigur Ros, The Knife and too many more to name.
Books, I really like too many things to list all of them, but the last thing I read that I really liked was The unbearable lightness of being.
Same for movies, too many to list, but I really like movies with Kate Winslet in them(except for Titanic which is not very good) and good blockbuster movies. I get enough intellectual stimulation through reading and academia, sometimes it is nice to just have a bit of mindless entertainment where things blow up for an hour or two
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I rode horses around the Pyramids, and watched the sunrise from from the foot of the great pyramid. I road a scooter through the the mountain roads along the Amalfi Coast, and saw one of the most beautiful places in the world, while being simultaneously scared witless the entire time. And honestly I have lived in New York for about two years now, and just the experience of being in New York for an extended period of time is truly amazing to me.
