About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people, experience different cultures and follow where life takes me!

ABOUT ME

I'm interested in the arts - all things creative. I find religion to be fascinating. I like being up to date with world politics and the direction the world is heading. I enjoy meeting new people and sharing a laugh or three!

PHILOSOPHY

My political views are Peace and Love. For real.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Being fairly new to CS I guess time will tell how I participate in the CS Project.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Having just graduated from University and with relatively low travel experience, I havn't really had much CouchSurfing experience. Now that I am travelling the world for several months it is my attempt to CouchSurf as a means to achiev my goal of a better understanding of the world, culture and life in general.

Music, Movies, and Books

These days I am listening to House, Progressive House, Trance and Electro-type music. When I'm chilling out I still enjoy classical music. That being said I appreciate and can listen to a wide variety of music - everything from Gospel to Techno.

In terms of Books, I am interested in books that tell a unique and creative story and at the same time give an interesting understanding of the world. For example, I thought The Alchemist was a great book.

Similar to my taste in Books, the movies I find myself interested in are ones that not only tell a compelling story but touch on important themes that are prevalant in everyday life. I like it when Directors preach to their audience in a very subtle way. For example I thought Crash was a great movie.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For the past two summers I have planted trees in Canada's Ottawa Valley. The job is extremely challenging and intense. I "rookie-highballed" my camp which consisted of 150+ people. My highest planting day was 5000 trees in one day. I view this as one of my greatest accomplishments.

Teach, Learn, Share

This is an interesting section! I guess I could say that I have special knowledge of what it is like to grow up in a large family. I have 2 brothers and 5 sisters, all from the same parents. I also have a twin sister. In addition to this: having just completed a degree in World Religions, I think I could give people a better idea of similar and differing religious concepts.

In terms of what I am interested in learning, since this changes everyday, I will leave it up to where my life takes me.

Countries I’ve Visited
