I’m Matt, 24, from the UK. This summer I am travelling around South East Asia, with the hope of meeting amazing people, learning about the history and culture of the countries I visit, and just generally having fun.
I’ve just finished the first year of medicine at the university of Sheffield, and want to make the most of my time off.
I love sport and keeping fit! In particular football is a great passion of mine, and I’m looking forward to watching a few games whilst I’m away.
I am clean and tidy, and excited to share my culture and create memories with my host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couch surfing is the best way to learn about the countries I am visiting and meet the amazing people that live there.
It is also an opportunity for me to share everything my host wants to know about where I am from and where I’ve been.

I love movies! Good Will Hunting, American Beauty, Planes Trains & Automobiles, and the Notebook are a few of my favourites
I like most music.
My favourite book is ‘The Universe Against Alex Woods’ and I am currently reading ‘The Bridge Over The River Kwai’ ahead of my trip to Thailand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve trekked through the Bornean jungle, swam with dolphins in Mauritius, and seen a tornado in Greece.
