COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Definitely in the Philippines--best experience. We had met someone on our plane to Manila, and he later took us in days after, when we found out our credit cards were compromised. He fed us, took us site-seeing, gave us a place to sleep, got us oil massages, a night out (it didn't last long, I mean--we had just found out we were basically broke!), introduced us to his family. Peter rules!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

A path in Packwood, Washington (near my hometown), leads to a clear mountain lake over an hour or two journey away. I set off with some friends, and we had a great time hiking and exploring, learning random history notes on the way from the temp. rangers. Pristine mountain getaway aside, a hike here seems like home.
