About Me

Hi! I'm a guy from Florence, Italy who has grown travelling with his family -and some friends- by camper.
I LOVE simplicity, I've learned that's the key for this world. The more I stay "without", the better I stay.
Anyway, I'm a human too so comfort is always welcome! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I didn't know about Couchsurfing until I met my friend Alessandro Pini, who told me about this (fabulous) community.
I've found it GREAT and I hope to better know people and so the world, through this.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC_ Since I was a child I listen to very much music, from Pop to Hard Rock, from Hip-hop to Balcanic Folk, from Reggae to Indie Rock music... Nowadays I'm exploring most surfaces of Electronic music, simultaneously Classical music and the Traditional ones ...but I'm sure I'm missing a lot of!
Oh, actually my favourite band is "Edward Sharpe and the magnetic zeros" (But I don't like the last album :'( )

FILMS_ I like the fantasy ones (Harry Potter, for ex.) and the psychological thrillers (Shutter Island, Inception...) but my favourites are the Coloured-non-sense-with-sense films of Wes Anderson (Grand Budapest Hotel).
I would like to know more about Italian old films. Of course I've watched some of these but if someone could...

BOOKS_ I like the fantastic ones because your mind goes wherever... Since a year I discovered a passion for thrillers, especially written by the Italian Andrea Camilleri.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I've been to Taizé (France). You don't know what is Taizé? Don't worry, it's quite normal. Taizé is a sort of VERY big camping where people from all around the world go for share ideas, dubts and questions about the way for living.
A clarification: Taizé born as a Catholic-Camp, so it's normal to see someone praying or to discuss about "God and all his sons" BUT it's incredible how people there, are so mind-opened.

I never prayed in Taizé but I remember it as the place where I've touched REAL happyness. I hadn't nothing except people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all a smile (or a hug, as you like)! Then I can share informations about good places, trips and holidays, especially in Italy, where I live.
Also I can teach some Italian cooking methods (I've studied for it ;) ) and some techniques for begginer percussionists and drummers.

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
