ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Matthew, I am 34 years old and live in Florence. I am a graduate in business and do a desk job, but my real passions are acting (in particular films and shorts) and travel, especially in places off the beaten tourist routes, especially if in direct contact with the nature. I love animals, especially dogs: I have a half-breed female who is now 2 years - is a love - I trained in a self-taught, in search of truffles! I like a lot to do with her long walks in the woods, and if then I also find the truffles, are in seventh heaven! I love nature in general, being outdoors, trekking in the mountains and snorkelling in the sea. I do not like the excessive confusion, but even the excessive isolation.
I like to spend a quiet evening with friends, eating a pizza or a drink in a pub, I do not like the clubs because I do not like, or better, I can not dance.

My strengths: I am a serious person but, at the same time, solar, intelligent, positive, always smiling and loves life in general, and I try to live each day fully, as if it were the last, although not always a simple thing to do ... but I'll try anyway. I love the news and everything that gives me constant stimuli in life. Even in bad things, when I captain, I always try to see the positive side and the opportunities that may arise from that event. I am very fond of the people with whom I have a certain feeling and I try to always give the maximum in that relationship, both in friendship and in love.
My faults: I am a bit 'shy and sometimes even a little' touchy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate as host for a coffee or a drink at my house, or as an accompanist to show the most beautiful parts of my city, Florence. I can take a few hours in the afternoon or on weekends to do this.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met couchsurfing this summer in Berlin, where I went on holiday to find a friend who lives there. One evening I was with him in a pub where by the site were organized a meeting for exchange of languages​​. I spoke in Italian with people from other parts of the world who wanted to practice my language and in English to practice myself. I did not know this site and its beautiful philosophy that inspires, I was pleasantly surprised and then returned to Florence, I decided to enroll myself to get to know foreign people here in Florence and provide them a mini-guide to the city and to exercise my English and my French too.
