Back to my profile: Wow, what a year. Last year was my first real experiences with Couchsurfing and what a ride. Met amazing people, some are still friends and people I visited while passing by their countries.

If you are new to couch surfing you might be asking yourself, why would people host other people for free? it's hard to explain it, but for me is about meeting people, sharing amazing experiences, enjoying things that I´ve done before but suddenly can become "new" again thru the experience of someone doing it for the first time.

Jesus said. "To enter the kingdom of heave you must be like children". And so, thru your eyes, I want to see everything around me as if it was new. That is what couch surfers bring to me.

My schedule varies. My girlfriend lives with me most of the time, when she is not in Mallorca where she lived before we met. I have a business so sometimes I am busier than others, so I can´t guarantee I will have a lot of time to spend with you. From 10 to 19 each day I work from the leaving room, and I have someone that works with me doing packaging for my company, so the leaving room is a little "busy" during the day.

I like partying sometimes, but not during the week because of work. Barcelona has a lot to offer, for day and night activities, sometimes I feel like chilling, others partying, others exploring nature. Your mood will influence my mood too, and then we will see what happens, but if you want to party during the week please don´t choose me, because its near to impossible for you to go out and not wake me up when leaving and arriving.

I am a talkative guy, Brazilian/Italian. I love to talk about life, culture, travels and most of all about people and why we are as we are, and how we can become the best version of ourselves. I´m always interested in learning new things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Recently I am reading a book called "Conversations with God" which is impacting me very profoundly. I am not religious (Yes, I do have a Jesus quote at the start of my profile), but I do believe there are people that have an important message for us. So in this book I read this phrase

"Make sure you never walk through any human beings life, but that is made better because you did". When I read that, I was already doing couchsurfing, and I was kind of doing it, but this phrase inspired me to go deeper, and practice it with everyone that I meet. I´m not always able, but I am doing my best, which is all I can ever do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So, time for an update. Having received about 14 times, from 1 to 3 people. I guess I now have some experience. Because of couch surfing, I had the best summer, and now I have friends to visit in many cities. I am very thankful for it.
