About Me

LIFE MISSION

Being a professional archeologist and making my dreams come true.

ABOUT ME

I was always waiting for a good time, opportunity or travel companion to go anywhere. Always dreaming about seeing the world but finding these little excuses, and doing so little things I could be proud of. Now trying to change it. I've discovered that time will never be perfect, opportunities just wait to be discovered, and travel companions probably won't appear for such a newbie.

I've traveled lot around Poland, mostly hitchhiking or in connection with my work, what involved living in many different places. With every kind of people. I am pretty sure that I know how to behave in new place. I don't like to cause any troubles, I don't mess around and usually say what's on my mind. I don't like to be late and always try to be up to given word.

While traveling the main goal is to visit the most important things. Firstly in my opinion (historical nature), secondly in local's opinion, lastly cause the tourist guide's advises. Preferably ALL the things.

For me, the most important thing to remember is: the host is my master. That's why it's easy for me to enter one of those states.
1. If you want to hang out with me - I will be delight to visit your favorite pub. I am keen on pretty everything, maybe except clubs or really expensive stuff (for example dinner for 100 EUR).
2. If you don't have free time to spare for me, don't worry, I am reasonable guy and I can deal with pretty everything on my own. Well... maybe zombie/alien attack would be problem.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just starting.

WHY I AM DOING THIS

Like everyone else here? Meet new people, help them in dealing with their problems (if possible), make their life brighter, share some life experiences and by the way save few coins.

Interests

My interests are very wide, but because of that I am not much specialized in any of it. I just like to know anything about everything. I am the best person to talk with about every topic, cause in 95% I will be sincerely interested in it. But if I would need to choose only few categories they would be: "people in other countries", "does everything tastes like chicken", "how do you say cheers in you language", "superiority of magic above the warp technology" and "why in 20 years you will have problem with choosing unused login".

Music, Movies, and Books

Rock. Always was, and always will be my favorite music. I know it is not very exact term but I can't name here every rock's sub genre I liked. There were few kinds of punk, harder things or slighter, grungier, more metallic, indie, stoner or alternative. In spite of this there was also some spare time for classical music, reggae, folk things, blues, ska and rap. But in my musical heart two equally important spots will be always booked for Rammstein and Florence+The Machine. I have no idea why these two.

I am not watching too many movies. They need to be really good to catch my short attention span. I rather like to choose a computer game for relax, or a book for food for thought.

I think that 50% of books I've read was more or less fantasy genre. Fortunately recently I've discovered audiobooks, and right now I am listening them always when I can. So slowly catching up with classic things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Does being born counts? I would go with it if it counts. I know I didn't do it myself but most of amazing things you can't do it yourself.

Teach, Learn, Share

Each useless knowledge and information I have ever obtained. I haven't seen much, but that's why I remember most of interesting things. From my field of studies maybe some few practical things, for example how to dig a proper hole and why yous should visit my country.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My readiness to do simple, physical things. Do you need someone to move furnitures? Not anymore!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Croatia, Germany, Hungary, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovakia, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Czech Republic, Poland
