About Me

Hola!
I'm part way through an amazing South American adventure travelling from Colombia down to Patagonia in Chile.
I love traveling, meeting new exciting people, and trying new things.
I've quit my job to travel but previously I managed a learning disability charity in London and also played bass guitar in a band.
I am sporty and adventurous. I love nature, being outside and trying things a little more extreme!
I'm hoping to use couch surfing to meet great people on my travels :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm travelling down the west coast of South America and would love to get away from the gringo trail and into the real world. I'm keen to meet new people, practice my awful Spanish and to hear a locals view of the area and things to do!

Music, Movies, and Books

Playing in a band I'm a huge music fan and I love loads of genres and bands from David Bowie and Bob Dylan to Kendrick Lamar, Run the Jewels, and everything from house, jazz, classical, Motown and now even Reggaeton!!

Book wise the Motorcycle Diaries and On the Road have inspired my travels and I love Murakami, Orwell and lots more.

Movies.... I'll happily watch anything if you ask nicely but I love (half of) the coen brothers films, Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, and classics like the Godfather and all the usual IMDb top 25.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I love adventurous activities outside in nature - canyoning down massive waterfalls in banos was one truly amazing thing I've done recently. Skydiving, snowboarding, kite surfing and many more things also make the list.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you some cool magic tricks and if you're reeeeeally nice to me I may even teach you one!
I'm trying to learn Spanish and I'm always keen to learn new skills and hear about local cultures and histories.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook you great meal, bore you with my travel stories and show you some card tricks. I'll happily help around the house and can bring an enthusiastic and open minded fun spirit with me :)
