I'm an outgoing guy who has a deep love of travelling and experiencing new cultures and seeing the local way if life. I've currently been away from home a year and a half, travelling through Asia and spending a year in Vietnam as an English teacher.

As well as travelling I have an interest in road cycling, cooking, reading, music, film, following politics, motorbikes, rock climbing and board games.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I find the best way to get to know a country is to meet local people and see their way of life. You struggle to see a local way of life in expensive hotels. Couch surfing is a great way to meet locals.

I plan on hosting when I return home to show my own country to people and meet like minded people from all over the world.

- I enjoy many types of film, from serious dystopian films such as Children Of Men to comedies like Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

- I love high quality tv, such as Rick and Morty, the neesrooms, game of throne, breaking bad, the americans, stranger things, the wire, generation kill.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My girlfriend and I along with another couple spent three weeks driving through the Indian Himalaya's on royal Enfield motorbikes. The roads proved very challenging, bad roads, snow, ice, rivers through the road and breakdowns were all encountered. We had no real option to turn back. We worked together to overcome the challenges creating a great sense of comradery.
