About Me

I'm a student at a Bible college in the Dallas area and I have a year left before graduating. I'd love to teach long-term, but I do a lot of marketing/promotional work in the meantime with various marketing companies and talent agencies. I've lived in Dallas my whole life! I'm a husband, a lover of theology, a self-identifying hip-hop-head, and I'm fascinated by culture, language, and great cinema.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'm moving to Boston for a few months with my wife and a friend (for a job) and we'd love to make the most of the experience while there. We want to meet new people and plug into the culture so this seems like a great site to do so.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and Chance The Rapper are my favorites. PARTYNEXTDOOR, Isaiah Rashad, Lil Yachty, Denzel Curry, Sampha, Travi$ Scott, The Weeknd, etc. Also a huge fan of metal/hardcore, and Oh, Sleeper will always be number one in my heart.

Movies: I love watching movies. My philosophy is if a movie is good then I'll enjoy it because of the story/acting/whatever, and if it's bad then I'll enjoy it because I can make fun of it. I'll watch anything.

Reading: Mostly non-fiction, I'm especially interested in studying how theology interacts with the arts and the theological emphases of other cultures and subcultures. Also Reddit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My favorite traveling experience was in Bangalore, India. The culture was so different and the people were so kind and above all, the food was freaking great.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to conversate with literally anyone from any type of background, and I love to learn about people as well as share my own experiences and thoughts. I've lived in Dallas for the majority of my life and I know Texas very well, so I know the beautiful sights, the best food, and the fun events and places to visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Cayman Islands, India, Jamaica, Mexico, United Kingdom, United States
