I'm currently a twenty-three year old au pair living in Dubai working for a Finnish/Dutch family. Previously I've lived in small-town Illinois (where I'm from) and Honolulu, Hawai'i (university). I'm trying to get out into the world and meet new people while learning about other cultures; I love seeing new ways of life and experiencing different ways of living. I'm hard-working, and (I think) fun to be around. Hopefully couchsurfing will help me achieve my many goals!

I don't have a favorite genre of music, movies, or books; but I am aspiring to read fifty-two books this year. Basically, I'm not incredibly picky when it comes to what I'll listen/watch and read.

I'd like to say a lot of the things I've done in my life have felt amazing. I've nursed a baby tiger; moved halfway across the earth to Dubai, and more recently, traveled a bit of Europe and met the most wonderful people during my stay.
