One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Currently, the lab I'm doing research in is studying a bacteria that affects people with cystic fibrosis and causes increased mortality. In the last few months, we've been able to isolate a protein of interest and have found ways of shutting it off, which (if it all works out) will kill the bacteria without harming the lungs of the human, and provide a potential drug target for treatment.
