In the short term I want to get done with school. Eventually I want to make a film of some sort.

ABOUT ME

Oh you know, the usually, I like food and easy going people and places. I've spent a lot of time consuming media of various kinds. At the moment I hold the moniker of "student" in that I find myself at that odd point in life where you spend a lot of time listening to people talk about things that may or may not prove useful. I've started to suspect that I should have moved past this point in life by now ...

None so far as of this writing, but people in my family have had some good experiences.

AH, too many to count, Studio Ghibli makes some great stuff, Princess Mononoke changed my life.
movies that I like at the moment: Boyhood, World's Greatest Dad, Mr. Nobody. I usually like mind bending types of movies like altered states or dark city.

books: anything by Philip k dick, Grant Morrison is great as well. Joseph Campbell is great for nonfiction. I find that I veer more towards sci-fi.

I've studied General Semantics and can speak in E-prime, English without the verb "To Be". E-prime supposedly causes the individual to see the world in a more scientific and or Zen like way. I find that it makes me talk sort of like a character from Star Trek.
