I enjoy hiking, road bicycling, basketball, and reading. I used to mountain guide for a Young Life camp out in British Columbia for 2 summers. I have recently started teaching high school math full time.

I like to travel cheap (Catholic high schools don't pay a lot of money) and enjoy meeting locals in the places I travel. I got to spend a few days in Hot Springs, Montana helping out with a vacation Bible school for the elementary school kids and really enjoyed meeting and hanging out with the people who lived there. It gives traveling more meaning than just staying at a hotel or a resort.
