I'm on Couchsurfing because my favorite part about traveling is interacting with locals, which typically leads to a greater experience of the culture and the country which I'm visiting. Additionally, I am in the process of learning Arabic, and I feel staying with locals would give me a better opportunity to more quickly improve my language skills.
