Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Whilst it's cheesy to bang on about "authenticity" when travelling, there's usually a lot in any destination that a travel guide won't be able to help you with like a local can - whether that be food spots, hidden gems to visit or even something like safety advice.

I thought Couchsurfing might be able to help with that by providing a source of local knowledge (both when I'm travelling or when travelers visit Jersey) that can turn a standard tourist trip into something amazing and unusual.

Unfortunately I'm not able to host properly at the moment but always happy to either provide recommendations or share a pint or two...

Intereses

Rugby - local club captain, qualified coach and referee. I spend about 30% of my waking hours watching, talking about, or playing rugby. I do my best not to be a bore, but it's an uphill struggle!

I also do coastal rowing fairly competitively, which takes up the rest of my spare time.

I'm an absolute bookworm - mainly fantasy and sci fi but always interested in recommendations!

In terms of film I enjoy action, comedy, thriller and animated films. Currently obsessed with Mad Max.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Not much in terms of travelling - that's still to come! - but I've rowed from the UK to France for charity. That was a pretty amazing but tough experience.
