Hey! My name is Matt and I have lived in Auckland, New Zealand for the past three years but am making the move to London in the UK to use it as a base to see everything that Europe and the UK has to offer.

I have been working as a business analyst for the past couple of years but am going to enjoy spending at least 3 months out of the office exploring the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A few friends have strongly recommended that couch surfing is the best way to see Europe! I am on here as I want to be able to get more off the beaten track and explore the real cultures of the places that I travel. Hopefully once I become a London "local" and know enough of the city to show people around, I can return the favour.

Interests

My interests include almost any form of exercise, so long as it does not require too much coordination. I love being outside in nature, whether that is going for a run, being at the beach, hiking ect. I always enjoy heading out for a beer (or two). I can be a bit of a movie nerd at times. But most of all I am hoping that my love for travelling is rekindled as I make my way across the world.

Hiked the Milford track in NZ. Probably the most beautiful place I have ever been.
