About Me
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
it is interesting to meet new people and i also have many places around the world that i would still like to see.
Interests
love all things creative - movies, theatre, watching people dance (and occasionally attempting to myself - i have done a bit of swing/jive in my time), i LOVE music more than anything on earth (it is like my oxygen, i cannot go a day without it), looking at art and painting with oil. i also am very passionate about words (both writing and reading other peoples). one of the things i love about travelling is that i always write a lot on trains.
i am also fascinated by all the big questions - who are we? why are we here? where have we come from and where are we going? (i am not someone who believes that the material world is the be-all and end-all of reality). so, love reading/learning about different religions, spirituality as it's perceived and practiced in different cultures, quantum physics - all the mind-boggling stuff!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
i directed a play that i had written and i was also in it, so this was slightly terrifying on three fronts - but also fun to do.
Teach, Learn, Share
i am always fascinated to learn anything new about other peoples cultures. it is also good to learn about nice places to visit that only locals know about.
if i'm free i can show you around london. if i'm not i can certainly tell you some nice places to go (not oxford street!). i can teach you the limited english i know.
What I Can Share with Hosts
tea, cake. opinions galore. a bed for the night.
(you also have the option of simply taking a bed for the night and passing on the other three!).
