ABOUT ME

I am 24 years old and was born in Poway California, but I moved to Salt Lake City Utah at a young age. I am married to the love of my life Cami and we just had our two year anniversary!

I grew up fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping with my dad and it continues to be a passion for me. As I got older I realized I also had a much nerdier side that loves physics, chemistry, biology, great fantasy books, and terrible Scifi movies (you know the ones with the awful animations and even worse plots). I seriously love finding the worst movies I can and watching them late at night, although I also love good movies like Legends of the Fall (personal favorite).

I lived in Spain for two years which really helped me open my eyes to the world and a different culture than my own. I am open to try any healthy thing at least once and love hanging out and chatting with new people. I still love adventures in the great outdoors and just being outside. I enjoy both extreme sports and thrill seeking as well as reading a good book and staying up all night talking and eating good food.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to enjoy life and dont get stressed out about it. There are to many great things in this world and to many great people to worry about the bad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A colleague at work showed me the world of CS and I couldnt be more pumped to be a part of this awesome community. I have a love for meeting new and interesting people and hearing their life stories, but dont get the chance that often. I had an awesome experience couch surfing in Europe, and hope to continue having great experiences as a host in my home town. Come join me in SLC Utah if you get the chance!

Interests

Me and my wife love hiking, riding bikes, cooking, art history, games, and getting to know people. We are also slightly obsessed with netflix and amazon I am studying physics and building mobile applications. I am from Sandy Utah USA.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love way to many books and movies to list them all:
Books- My favorites are fantasy, but i will read anything. I will say my all time favorite series is the Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan.
Movies- I love every movie and am open to anything. I especially enjoy low budget or old scifi and fantasy movies cause they just make me smile. Other favorites are LOTR, Legends of the Fall, Braveheart, Memento, V for Vendetta, Fight Club, or anything directed by Wes Anderson.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This isnt anything amazing, but it is one of my favorite things to do in Utah where I live. Basically there is about a 300 yard 8ft diameter cement tube with a stream running through it as it passes under a freeway. You go to the top and damn the thing with plywood till you have about 5 ft of water on the other side. You then knock it down and enjoy an awesome waterslide until you are launched into a small pond at the bottom. Its called shoot the tube. Even better at night :) If you CS with me we will be sure and go.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing and discussing the things i do at work which i find very interesting. Namely physics and mobile software development. I also love the outdoors and am an avid fisher and hunter. If you come to Utah in the summer time, I'd also love to have a good time boating with you on one of the awesome lakes here.
