I have done a fair bit of traveling and studying abroad, and I have found that I have had my best experiences in while staying with and spending time with locals. Hospitality, many times from complete strangers, has sparked live-long friendships.

I have taught English and am conversational in English, Spanish, Italian, French and Haitian. I love exchanging languages, songs and dances, helping out in the kitchen, or playing a board game.

I can teach a bit of Lindy Hop (a dance in the swing family) as well as any of the languages that I speak. I would love to learn more Korean and local music and dance. I am happy to share the folk songs that I know and help out with cooking.
