I am running across Europe, from Ireland to Istanbul and raising money for Autism Assistance dogs Ireland.

This has been a dream of mine for a few years. I am really looking forward to slowing making away across Europe, and all the people I will meet along the way. I have camping gear with me and will try to be self sufficient and stay in campsites when i can. However, I love meeting local people outside of typical tourist spots and having good conversations. It will be a lonely few months during this challenge, so getting to meet people through couchsurfing would be great.

I have done a lot of traveling already and have a few interesting stories to tell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people. I have travelled a lot in my time and I have always enjoyed getting off the beaten track and meeting locals. I have used community sites before such as workaway and Welcometomygarden (a sort of camping version of couchsurfing). I have always had a good experience with these and find that they are a more authentic way of experiencing an area.

While completing this challenge any accommodation would be greatly appreciated and a huge help. However, I am did not sign up to couch surfing for free accommodation. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories and having a good laugh.

I like a wide variety of music. I think good songs can be found in any genre.

I love movies. Anything by Kubrick or Christopher Nolan.

I am an avid reader. I prefer non fiction. At the moment I am reading a lot on sociology.

I cycled from Dublin to Lisbon.
