Overview
About Me
There’s something deeply fulfilling about living a life that blends creativity, movement, and meaningful work, and that’s exactly the kind of life I try to build wherever I go. I tend to be someone who doesn’t like to stay in just one lane for too long. I enjoy working with my hands, learning practical skills, and being useful—but at the same time, I’m equally drawn to expression, performance, and the kind of moments that bring people together in a more memorable way.
Okay … so ways that I have been navigating capitalism: I have been a street performance artist and professional pianist for some time now; some things that have naturally carried into my everyday life. I love the feeling of stepping into a space and bringing a certain energy with me—whether that’s through music, storytelling, or simply being present and engaged with the people around me.
I have been involved in trans/queer disability justice all my life having lived experiences with multiple intersectionalities and am currently in lineage and praxis with black indigenous philosophers that are offering extranoematic modes of disembarkation and manumission.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because, in many ways, it represents everything I’ve felt missing in my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a small, provincial town where life moved slowly and predictably, where everyone seemed to know everyone else, and where expectations were quietly set long before you had the chance to question them. I want to learn directly from people whose lives are different from mine, not through screens or secondhand stories, but through real, shared experiences.
