Chi sono

Grew up in Vancouver, BC, and have come to study Philosophy at Brock University. I am vegan, 420 friendly, and looking for a place to stay before settling into permanent residence near Brock!

Perché sono iscritto su Couchsurfing

A yogi roomate I had back in Port Moody showed it too me!! It took me four years before feeling like taking the plunge though ^_^

Interessi

I'm a vegan philosophy major in the heart of my studies. I'm an advocate of healing with the help of philosophy, plant medicines, and bodywork. I think the world is in need of a transformation of consciousness and I'm working to be a part of that change.

I have always felt drawn to philosophy, self-reflection, dreams, mysticism, and creative-magical-mystical realms. Even through a childhood and youth full of sports. I try to respect and honor that part which still exists in me.

I'm a life long lucid dreamer and love dream interpretation.

I was drawn to Zen Buddhism in my late teens/early twenties which helped propel a long journey of healing!!! (Add in a bit of plant medicine and some wonderful people)

Musica, film e libri

I like music that makes me forget that I'm there. Music I can get lost too. Music that makes me cry. Music that pumps me up when I need it. Music that brings people together. Music that puts you in a trance. Music that makes me dance. Music that resembles the heartbeat of Gaia. I like music, yes, yes I do.

I don't know if I have enough space for books... I love books.. I love that we can read a person's life... And the progression their novels or writings reveal about their ideas, over their lifetime. The risk takers, the poet's, the philosophers, the psychonauts, the unusual, the mysterious, the alien, the dreamers. I love to read... And learn from what I read and connect it with my experience and life.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Watched a Solar Eclipse with 50,000 people in Oregon, then proceeded to listen to Shpongle live afterwards. Pure Magic... I try not to forget, because that festival revealed to me the depth and magic of this world.

Danced around a burning effigy beside the Fraser River, celebrating the fire within us all, among other things.

Insegna, impara, condividi

I love to learn! I do, I do, I do!! Much too learn... I love to share my experience and what I've learned from it. Teaching? That's a tough one.. I have a lot of experience coaching and working with young people. However, I rarely consider myself a teacher... But I guess we are all teachers in our own way! 'Upaya', the transmission of lessons from person to person in a skillful way, is probably most accurate for my intentions with teaching. I think we all have to practice and find our own way, but sometimes guides are necessary!

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

Conversation, a different perspective, compassion, smiles and laughter. Good book recommendations, hockey knowledge, and attempted dream interpretation. Vegan foods!
