I am an Outdoor Leadership Major at Warren Wilson College in NC. I am an Eagle Scout with Troop 207, and I worked at a summer camp for four years where I was (eventually) head blacksmith at our heritage village. I do 3D printing at my colleges creative technology lab, I program I started in my freshman year, I got grants, approval, and space to set it all up and have learned a lot doing 3D modeling/scanning/printing, micro-computing with arduinos and raspberry pi, and webdev with Rails. I recently came back from a six week backpacking trip with Outward Bound hiking around the pisgah national forest, top rope and multi-pitch rock climbing, tandem canoeing, and received my WFR certification. I love animals, don't smoke tobacco, and spin fire (staff mainly but I'm learning poi).

I regularly longboard, slackline, hike, blacksmith, do web design, and play super meat boy, rock climb, put LEDs on things, spin fire, sing off-key, sing on-key, sleep, write, and read.
I am also interested in magnets, the way sound propagates through different objects, why some dogs like me instantly and others don't, how things are made, long-shot filmography, and the Freakanomics podcast.
