I grew up in Houston, TX. I now lived in Austin, TX for four years and am back in Houston now. I went to school for engineering and computer science. Right now, I'm working for an energy company but I am considering going back to school in the next year or so.

I love to see the world and meet new people. Good food and beer are also important.

I love travelling and I typically stay in hostels but I am always interested in meeting new people and getting the most authentic view of a city as possible. Right now my work schedule doesn't allow for many long trips so I have been going on weekend trips around the US with one or two international trips a year.

My favorite artist at the moment are The Lumineers, but that can change pretty rapidly. I also love Childish Gambino, J Cole, Frank Ocean, Glass Animals, Allan Rayman, Avicii, Beyonce and pretty much anything else that isn't country.

I don't watch too many movies but Batman is cool.

The best book I have read recently is "Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World" by Haruki Murakami. I will read just about anything, especially on long layovers.

In college I led a project to design a clean water system for a small village in Tibet. Once we got there we learned their water was pretty clean already so we basically ended up giving them plans for a new plumbing system and some large filters.
