ABOUT ME

I first discovered my love of travel many years ago when I studied abroad in Florence, Italy during my undergrad years. I was so scared and nervous going there that I wondered whether it was worth it to do the trip in the first place. Lo and behold, I had the time of my life in Florence and met some really amazing people.

Since then, I travel every chance I can get. As corny as it sounds, I love to try new things. From trying news foods to meeting new people, the thrill of being in a new place gives me almost unlimited energy. I know that it will become more difficult to travel once I settle into a career. But until then, I want to see as much of the world as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

The older I get, the less I know. With every new destination and every new person I meet, I'm reminded that there is still so much of the world for me to see.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am invovled in CS now becuase I have heard many stories of CS parties in various countries and how fun it was to meet so many new people. When I travel again to another country, I plan on attending or creating a CS event so I can meet fellow travelers and locals to enjoy my experience to the fullest.

Interests

I love history so whenver I travel, I always try to visit famous museums or cultural landmarks. I also like to explore the nightlife. Seeing the nightlife is a great opportunity to mingle with others while seeing what the locals do for fun.

I also enjoy many outdoor activities including hiking, biking, boating, etc. The more beautiful the weather, the more likely you are to find me outside taking advatange of it.

In the midst of all the history and nightlife, I do enjoy taking it easy every now and then. Sometimes a casual stroll through a park or laying down on the beach is all you need to recharge your batteries.

I've lived in South Florida my whole life, so I know where a lot of the best places are for drinking, eating, sightseeing, etc.

As far as learning, I like to learn what everyday life is like for someone in a country. I also like to learn where the best sights in the city are. I'm always open to recommendations about where I should go and what I should see.
