Overview
About Me
In 2017 I left my hometown, London, to cycle across Asia with a friend of mine. After taking a break in Georgia for the winter I was offered a job working for an NGO, and decided to stay!
I enjoy reading, writing, and (when I am not too busy at work) cycling or running. I've seen a lot of the world, and at different times have lived in the UK, China, Vietnam, the USA, and the Middle East, but I know that this is just scratching the surface so I'm always interested to meet travellers.
I'm easygoing, open to trying new things, and happy to help out either as a host or guest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live in Gori but spend a lot of my time in Tbilisi, and on the weekend you'll usually find me hanging out with friends. I've met dozens of people new to Georgia, whether they are staying for a week or a year, and I hope that I can offer knowledge and advice from my own experiences here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walked across a minefield in Somalia. This was for my work with an NGO, and don't worry, I made sure I took the safe route!
Teach, Learn, Share
I speak a few languages and am happy to teach others. I'm currently learning Farsi. I can share knowledge about the Caucasus (Georgia/Armenia/Azerbaijan), Central Asia (the 'Stans') and some of the other things I've seen during my travels. I also enjoy cooking, and have a few favourite dishes that I'd be happy to share with you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Humour, knowledge, friendship and good food.
