I am a keen traveller and have always wanted to work abroad. After quitting my job nearly a year ago now I have travelled Central and South America and intend to work in Australia. The experience of living and working abroad is something I have wanted to achieve for many years and have finally got round to giving it a go. I love new experiences and being able to learn new things from new people. I am a firm believer that travelling is the best education.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couch surfing as I am looking to work and live abroad in Australia. As accommodation is expensive couch surfing is a great alternative but I am also keen to meet new people and people that are living in the city already. I see it as an interesting adventure and after meeting so many people on my travels believe that couch surfing is a great way to meet new people in a new place.

Interests

I love sport, travelling, cooking and a have a few New Year goals which are to learn a new recipe each month, learn a new song on the guitar each week and to continue learning Spanish.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music but if I had to choose then would probably listen to Queen, Oasis, two door cinema club, mumford and sons.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I have done is watch the Fuego volcano erupt from the comfort of my tent after an 8 hour hike in pouring rain and lightening the skies cleared for a natural firework display from an active volcano only 3 kilometres from our base camp.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am determined to learn Spanish after my travels and having some basics I am keen to become fluent in a language which I really enjoy and as so many countries speak this language. I am also learning to develop and creating my own website. I am happy to teach and share anything I am able to.

I am happy to cook, share my experiences from my travels and lend a hand round the house.
