ABOUT ME

i am adventurous, nice (although everyone would say that), sporty, and most importantly open to learning about new cultures and discovering new languages!! and of course making new friends.

I have been fortunate to live abroad (Brazil, Spain, Argentina, Mexico and now Amsterdam!) but I do miss America quite often.

PHILOSOPHY

everyone has something to teach me and i want to know what it is. i like to meet people with different perspectives and try to break the filter bubble I'm trapped in all the time.

slowly growing and maturing as I get older and that's largely a result of listening to others and absorbing their perspective / wisdom.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i am currently using couch surfing to meet people throughout all of my travels! i am very excited at the prospect of finding locals where i am traveling. I have been very fortunate to travel to many different places and have found the best experiences to be those where I was able to better understand the local culture through meeting people.

currently i am not able to provide a couch, but i would like to give back to the couch surfing community through teaching english, spanish/dutch practice and sharing my experiences while listening to yours!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far i have participated in a few language exchange programs, and have meet a few people through surfing - but am not a very experienced surfer.

i am a fan of all kinds of movies and music. I also love reading (fiction (science fiction, fantasy, anything with a good story) and non-fiction (history, business etc.).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Been quite fortunate to do many amazing things. but one of the happiest moment's I've been is when studying abroad in spain having that moment when I began to see the world through my best friend (spanish)'s perspective. to have a real understanding of his hopes / fears / dreams was extremely satisfying.
