To meet people from around the world and to be inspired by them! ..and to try and improve our french while we're at it.

ABOUT ME

We enjoy walking, playing various sports and spending time with friends.

We have just finished a 12-month break from work in which we travelled. We had a few couch surfing experiences that we enjoyed whilst we were away. We hope to be able to CouchSurf during our future adventures and meet more wonderful people!

We are interested in hosting people and being hosted when travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only hosted a few people so far but they have all been good experiences and we have enjoyed people CouchSurfing at our house.

We have surfed a few times also whilst we were travelling in Europe. They were good experiences. We also caught up with a girl who couchsurfed our couch in Australia. It was great to catch up with her!

Interests

Walking, cooking yummy vegetarian meals, eating chocolate (Megan), being outdoors, learning French (Matt), hanging out with friends, helping others and the environment, relaxing with a good book ..to be continued.

Music, Movies, and Books

Matt likes travel non-fiction, and recommends any visitor to Australia reads Bill Bryson's book 'Down Under'. It is very funny and includes a lot of historical information about Australia. Matt's also branched out in fiction books so that Meg and Matt can share books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Coral Bay, Western Australia. An amazing place to visit with a vibrant, colourful coral reef and fish 5m from the beach. A must see!

In the same area, Turquoise Bay, near Exmouth, Western Australia. You swim out from the beach 20m or so, and float in the water and watch coral pass beneath you as the current slowly takes you parallel to the beach. Breath-taking.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are not good at much, but we can both juggle (3 balls), and would be happy to teach you! Although YouTube is probably easier...

That said Matt does plays golf and his handicap is about 9, so he could give you a tip or two.
