ABOUT ME

I'm from New York City and I moved to Austin for college. In school I studied computer science, and my interest lies in how computer science can be applied to audio and music. I also find interest in a wide range of entirely unrelated topics. I'll talk about almost anything with you.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not really sure, to be honest. I go back and forth between trying to live a rigid, scheduled life, and trying to just relax from all the rigid scheduled stuff I've been doing. It's confusing. Perhaps you can help me to better decide on/understand my philosophy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Previously I have hosted a few people in my co-op at the University of Texas. Now, I meet interesting, hospitable folks elsewhere. I've had the experience of hosting a totally new, unknown person, but never of being hosted by one.

Programmed a digital synthesizer in C++ from scratch, all on my own!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love teaching people the basics of writing computer programs, or about sound and digital audio. There's are lots of interesting things to know, and I'm still learning more of them every day.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can give back to my host in a variety of ways. I am a tidy guest who will always help to keep the host's home clean. Plus, I will show my gratitude through paying for some meals, helping to cook, and so on.
